About Breathing space today
Creating Space
To Breathe And Be Mindful
Most of us have habitual holding patterns in our body that are activated when we experience stress, anxiety and trauma. Breathwork and mindfulness is a powerful tool for accessing and releasing any memories and holding patterns that might be trapped in the body. With expanded awareness we are able to see our lives from different points of view, allowing us to actively make more empowered choices. We offer a unique blend of breathwork and mindfulness in our programmes that is particularly supportive of releasing anxiety, depression, stress, anger, trauma and balancing the nervous system.
More About Breathwork And Mindfulness
Breathwork allows us to restore our connection to our life force, by consciously re-connecting to our breath we are increasing our attention and awareness and therefore our capacity to live a more full and healthy life.
It is not just our brains that archive our journey through life; our bodies are left with the imprints of our experiences.
Mindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations and surrounding environment by approaching our experience with non-judgement, warmth and kindness.
When we practice mindfulness, our thoughts tune into what we’re sensing in the present moment rather than rehashing the past or imagining the future.
Mindfulness meditation begins and ends in the body.

We breathe approximately 20 000 breaths a day.
Each breath is a new beginning.
